We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cook to join our team at 'Killean'. Situated in the fertile agricultural region of the NSW Northern Tablelands, the McLean Care Residential Care facility is a 138-bed home located in picturesque Inverell, the “Sapphire City”.
🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare and cook nutritious meals, ensuring all dietary needs are met Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including food storage and safe handling Build positive, collaborative working relationships with staff Monitor inventory and order supplies as required Assist with seasonal menu planning
👤 About YouYou will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
✅ Essential RequirementsCertificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery Proven experience in aged care or healthcare Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Good communication skills and a team-focused approach Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure Two recent managerial referees Police Clearance (provided free of charge) Compassionate, patient and positive attitude
