About the role
As a Care Services Employee, you will support residents with their daily living needs while promoting independence, comfort, dignity and quality of life.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a dignified dining experience
- Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour
- Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning
- Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards
- Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes
Providing companionship, reassurance and respectful person-centred care
About you
You are a caring and dependable person who brings empathy, patience, teamwork and professionalism to your work. You understand the importance of supporting older people with kindness and respect, and you take pride in making a positive difference each day.
Essential requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Previous experience in residential aged care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties
- Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Two recent managerial referees
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons and nights

- Be currently residing in Australia with full working rights (please note that sponsorship is not available for this position).
- Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
