McLean Care is currently recruiting Care Service Employees to join our Residential Aged Care team in Gunnedah, New South Wales. We have a range of casual morning, afternoon and night shifts available, supporting residents with personal care, daily living needs and quality of life.

Shifts may include:

• Morning Care: 06:30 – 10:30
• Morning Care: 06:30 – 15:00
• Afternoon Care: 14:00 – 22:30
• Night Care: 22:15 – 06:45
• Night Care: 22:30 – 07:00

What You’ll Do

As a Care Service Employee, you will support residents with dignity, compassion and respect.

• Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a dignified dining experience
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning
• Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards
• Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes

About You

You are a caring and dependable individual who brings empathy, teamwork and professionalism to your work.

Essential

• Certificate III in Individual Support 
• Previous experience in residential aged care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties
• Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
• Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
• Two recent managerial referees

Desirable

• Medication Administration certification

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be onshore with full working rights in Australia - no sponsorship available
• Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997
