Make a real difference every dayMcLean Care is currently recruiting Care Service Employees to join our 40-bed Residential Aged Care team at CWA House in Oakey, Queensland. Shifts may include: - Morning Care: 06:30 – 15:00
- Evening Care: 14:30 – 21:30
- Evening Care: 14:30 – 23:00
- Evening Care: 14:30 – 20:30
- Night Care: 22:30 – 07:00
What You’ll Do- Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a dignified dining experience
- Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour
- Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning
- Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards
- Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes
About YouYou are a caring and dependable individual who brings empathy, teamwork and professionalism to your work. Essential- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Previous experience in residential aged care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties
- Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Two recent managerial referees
Desirable- Medication Administration certification
