As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, person-centred care to our elderly residents. You’ll bring clinical expertise, compassion, and leadership to our multidisciplinary team, while supporting and supervising Enrolled Nurses and Care Service Employees. Your contribution will help shape a culture where our residents thrive.
About YouEssential: Minimum 12 months aged care experience since AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of aged care legislation. Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation processes. High-level analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. Empathetic, respectful, and collaborative approach to care. Team-oriented with a strong commitment to McLean Care’s values. Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster (AM, PM, nights). Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
Preferred: Residential Aged Care – holistic, relationship-based support to older people. Primary Healthcare – managing chronic illness and supporting older populations. Strong clinical knowledge of age-related health issues. Leadership and team coordination skills. Caring, empathetic nature and strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of aged care standards, compliance, and relevant legislation.
