In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for fostering clinical excellence and supporting the continuous development of our nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. 🔍 Key Responsibilities:As a Clinical Facilitator, you will: Deliver targeted clinical education, training, and support to nursing staff Assess training needs and coordinate development programs in line with best practices Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical capability and outcomes Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities Champion a culture of clinical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement
👤 About YouWe’re looking for a compassionate and capable professional who is committed to clinical excellence and has a passion for supporting older Australians. ✅ Essential CriteriaCurrent registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Strong clinical knowledge and judgement A solid understanding of the ageing process and age-related health issues Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills A mature, empathetic approach and the ability to connect meaningfully with older people Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Demonstrated initiative and self-direction
💡 Desirable (Advantageous) SkillsExperience in an aged care setting Background in nursing education or clinical training Knowledge of aged care legislation and compliance Understanding of AN-ACC funding model and documentation standards Experience leading or supervising clinical teams Basic Life Support (BLS) accreditation Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively A commitment to uphold and model the core values of McLean Care
