McLean Care is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our team at Killean, our 138-bed residential aged care home in Inverell, NSW. This is a rewarding permanent part-time opportunity offering 72 hours per fortnight, with the ability to pick up additional shifts when available.

About the role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide clinical leadership across the home, support care teams, and help ensure high-quality, person-centred care is delivered in line with aged care legislation and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical leadership and oversight to care teams
- Supervising Enrolled Nurses, Team Leaders, and Care Service Employees
- Allocating duties to support safe, effective, and efficient service delivery
- Supporting best practice in line with aged care legislation and quality standards
- Promoting clinical excellence and contributing to continuous improvement
- Supporting a respectful, resident-focused, and team-based care environment
About you
You are a compassionate and capable Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical judgement, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to care.
To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 12 months’ experience in residential aged care
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of aged care legislation
- Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Empathetic, respectful, and team-focused approach
- Flexibility to work across a full rotating roster
- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered and insured vehicle
Eligibility
- Applicants must be currently residing in Australia and have full working rights (please note that sponsorship is not available for this position).
- Applicants must also be willing to undertake a Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
