McLean Care is currently seeking reliable, caring and team-focused Support Workers - Non-Direct Care to join our Residential Aged Care team at Yallambee in Millmerran, QLD. About the role As a Support Worker in a Non-Direct Care, you will help maintain a safe, clean, welcoming and well-supported environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your responsibilities may include: - Assisting with meal preparation, plating and serving
- Supporting dining and hospitality services for residents
- Cleaning and sanitising shared spaces, resident areas and service areas
- Helping maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment
- Working closely with hospitality, care and support teams
- Supporting the daily operational needs of the home
- Providing respectful, friendly and reliable service to residents and colleagues
Available Shifts May Include: - Cleaning
0700–1500 - Laundry
0600–1400 - Food Assistant
0600–1430 1100–1800 1300–1900
About you You are dependable, practical and kind, with a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to contribute to the wellbeing of older people. You take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team and understand the importance of creating a clean, safe and comfortable environment. To be successful, you will bring: - Experience in hospitality, cleaning, food services, support services or aged care
- A friendly, respectful and compassionate approach
- Reliability and flexibility across rostered shifts
- Physical capability to safely perform cleaning and hospitality duties
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A willingness to pitch in and support the broader team
- Basic computer literacy for simple administrative tasks
