💰 Remuneration: $34.59 per hour + penalties + super
🕒 Employment Status: Casual
⏰ Shift Times: Morning, evening and night shifts available, including weekend work

Available shifts include:

• Morning Care: 07:00 – 13:30
• Morning Care: 06:30 – 15:00
• Morning Care: 07:00 – 15:30
• Evening Care: 14:30 – 21:00
• Evening Care: 14:30 – 23:00
• Night Care: 22:45 – 07:15

McLean Care is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Care Service Employees to join our Residential Aged Care team at our 60-bed home in Millmerran, QLD on a casual basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and make a genuine difference in the lives of others.

About the Role

As a Care Service Employee, you will provide care to our residents, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Providing care in accordance with each resident’s individualised Care Plan
• Assisting residents with personal care, including showering and personal hygiene
• Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a respectful dining experience
• Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning
• Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour
• Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards
• Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes

Role Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support 
• Previous experience in residential aged care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties
• Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
• Two recent managerial referees

Desirable

• Current First Aid and CPR
• Medication Administration certification
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
