Business Support Officer

Location: Work from Home
Rate: $45 per hour
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to provide high-level administrative and executive support to our leadership team.

This role will suit a highly organised professional with advanced technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You’ll support strategic and operational priorities, manage documentation and correspondence, and ensure the smooth delivery of administrative and governance functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, high-level administrative support to CEO

  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and action tracking

  • Draft, review, and format reports, policies, and governance documents

  • Conduct research and prepare concise written summaries of complex material

  • Assist with strategic projects and operational reporting

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across all communications


Skills & Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) for document collaboration and information management

  • Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills

  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, and attention to detail

  • Ability to interpret legislation, policies, and reports, and summarise key information

  • Proven ability to take accurate meeting minutes and prepare professional agendas

  • Previous experience providing high-level executive or CEO support highly regarded

  • Experience in aged care would be an advantage, though not essential — we welcome applicants from all sectors with strong transferable skills
