About the role As a Care Services Employee, you will support residents with their daily living needs while promoting independence, comfort, dignity and quality of life. Your responsibilities may include: - Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Supporting residents at mealtimes and helping provide a dignified dining experience
- Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour
- Assisting with mobility, transfers and positioning
- Maintaining safety, hygiene and infection control standards
- Working closely with nurses and the broader care team to support quality outcomes
- Providing companionship, reassurance and respectful person-centred care
About you You understand the importance of supporting older people with kindness and respect, and you take pride in making a positive difference each day. Essential requirements - Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Previous experience in residential aged care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to safely perform manual handling duties
- Confidence using tablets or smartphones for work purposes
- Current First Aid and CPR, or willingness to obtain
- Two recent managerial referees
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons and nights
Eligibility - Be currently residing in Australia with full working rights (please note that sponsorship is not available for this position).
- Be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check in accordance with the Aged Care Act 1997.
