About the Role
We are seeking an experienced trade qualified Cook to join our team at our 138-bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Inverell, NSW - where you will play an important role in delivering high-quality meals that support the health, wellbeing, and enjoyment of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook nutritious meals in line with resident dietary requirements
Maintain high food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
Assist with menu planning and seasonal meal preparation
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
Work collaboratively with the broader residential care team
Ensure meals are delivered in a timely, safe, and professional manner
About You
Essential Requirements
Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
At least 12 months’ experience in a similar cooking role
Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude
Ability to provide 2 recent managerial referees
Willingness to complete a Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
Desirable
Previous experience in Residential Aged Care
